Champions: Realistic Pokemon

Realistic versions of my LeafGreen team.

Charizard is based off an ostrich skeleton, with t-rex legs, and bat wings. The head is based on a crocodile and giraffe horns. My main issue was figuring out the double shoulder blade thing.

For Gyarados I looked at lobsters, catfish, eels, and barracudas. I decided not to extend the plates all the way down the back because I felt it would limit mobility. Plus Gyarados is such a bamf it doesn't need them all over.

Jolteon is my favorite eeveelution. It's fur is soft and lays flat until it's in a fight, then it runs electricity through its body to make the fur stand. The quills on the back are always sharp. Jolteon's skeletal structure is based on a rabbit, with fennec fox for the ears, and Belgian Groenendael for the fur.

Persian is the "classy cat pokemon" so I based it on an Abyssinian with light Siamese points. The paws are oversized, though to show it's still pretty wild.

Pidgeot is based on several different birds; osprey, bald eagle, peregrine falcon, red-tailed hawk, and a bird of paradise.

I decided against making Nidoqueen reptilian and based it off a rhino. The "plates" are actually thick folded skin.
